In 2012, Shell decided to embark on a Modernization Project at their Shell West Hollow Technology Center. The campus sits on 200 acres with 44 buildings, containing more than 1.2 million square feet of laboratory and office space.

Diversified Thermal was engaged to perform the exterior restoration. Diversified water-blasted the layers of dirt from the surface and removed all of the existing window sealants. The cracks in the precast were filled, the windows were recaulked and the precast panels were coated and sealed with DowSil Allguard. The old exterior finish was reborn to reveal the original beauty of the mid-century buildings.
